1st Israeli Workshop on Multi Criteria Optimization and Decision Making
The Ort Braude College has organized the 1st Israeli Workshop on Multi Criteria Optimization and Decision Making, which will be held on 9th February 2012 at the college premises in Karmiel, Israel. The workshop will focus on the need for multi-objective optimization tools in order to solve complex problems requiring the simultaneous consideration of multiple performance criteria. It will also attempt to bring closer the academia and the industry in order to discuss possible collaborations in this field.

The main goals of the workshop are the following:
- introduce industry to research conducted at the Israeli universities,
- serve as a meeting point for researchers from universities/industry to discuss possible collaborations,
- introduce universities to industry needs,
- introduce managers, researchers and students to available software tools,
- establish working teams to enhance collaborations.
The workshop will be held at the premises of the Ort Braude College in Karmiel, Israel of 9th February 2012. All lectures will be conducted in English.
