Import From File

Using this tool is possible to create a table from data already stored in a text or Excel file. The tool is designed in such a way user is guided step-by-step through the creation of the table:

• Select File A file chooser opens. Text files and Excel files are permitted.
• Different approach for different kind of files.
          Text File Indicate start/end row, comment char, row separator char.
          Excel File Indicate sheet to import.
• Preview Remove unnecessary rows and/or columns. Select names for table header.
• Input/Output Select columns and assign them a type between Input and Output.
• Objectives If needed add one or more objectives.
• Constraints If needed add one or more constraints.

Import From Database

The import of data from a database is quite similar to the import from a file. The main change is where the user has to connect to a database.

Each of these tools helps to easy manage tables.

Filter Table Values

Using this option a designs table can be filtered row-wise. After selecting the desired table, all variables (columns) in the table will be listed and Filterd Table section can be populated.

• Quick filter lets user set up and enqueue one or more filters for a variable by simply selecting a Variable and a filter Condition.
• Custom filter allows user to create his own custom expression using JavaScript.

Once filter is set properly user can add it to enqueue filter. Then apply listed filters to table, updating it with its rows filtered accordingly.
